In order to create a project in CFD, navigate through File > New > Project. Choose the folder you want to save the project and input the name of your project. You can change default properties the project’s default properties by selecting the project in the Project Explorer on the right. The properties can be changed in the Properties Window in the bottom right. The project folder will contain Audio (stores audio files), Libraries (Stores C# files) and Output (Stores the application build output) folders. An empty call flow is created.

In the created empty call flow, you can drag components to create call flows according to your need. The component toolbox of the 3CX CFD consist of a wide range of components that can be dragged into the designer. This toolbox is located on the left left of the window. Each component dragged into the designer can be renamed in the properties window on the right. A red exclamation mark showing on any component means that more information is required for that particular component to work. Double clicking on the component will enable you enter the required information.

After adding all the required components and configuring them in the CFD, the call flow can be built by selecting build from the top navigation. Once the build is complete, the call flow output can be found as a zip file in the release folder inside the output folder.
