Foppex Ltd is registered in the Republic of Cyprus by shareholders of Akçaba Communications in April 2010. The company’s main focus is the marketing of fiber optic products, mainly single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic pigtails and duplex patch cords of various length, connectors, adaptors, rack-mount patch panels, and wall-mount termination boxes. These products are produced locally by an Akçaba Communications subsidiary, Foppex Manufacturing in the northern part of Cyprus. foppex also has a team of certified installers who provide fiber optical termination (fusion splice) and testing (OTDR, power meter) services. In addition, the company provides customized training on fiber optic technology and its applications.

Based on customers’ demand, in the recent years, foppex also started offering solutions in VoIP, wired and wireless networking, transmission systems, network infrastructure systems, etc. since 2017 – drawing from decades’ of experience of its mother company Akçaba Communications.

Today foppex supports TDM/IP telephony and call center installation, wide area networks, network security and management solutions, IT, networking, security and automation solutions right along with structured cabling and termination with fiber optic infrastructure cabling and termination.
