Why Choose Us?
Fiber-Optic lines are strands of optically pure glass as thin as a human hair that carry digital information over long distances. Due to much lower attenuation and interference, optical fiber has large advantages over existing copper wire in long-distance and high-demand applications. Foppex aims to deliver innovative solutions its customers need to stay ahead, evolve and excel.

Our Distribution Network
As the demand for high-speed internet connectivity continues to surge—driven by applications such as Voice-over-IP (VoIP), video streaming (IPTV, video conferencing), and peer-to-peer communication—Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) and Fiber-to-the-Neighborhood (FTTN) technologies are expected to grow exponentially.
To meet this increasing demand both locally and internationally, foppex was established in 2010 as the first manufacturing facility for fiber optic pigtails and patch cords in Cyprus. Operating as a subsidiary of Akçaba Communications, our mission is to provide high-quality fiber optic solutions that support the expansion of fast, reliable communication networks.
We specialize in producing both standardized and customized fiber optic pigtails and patch cords, tailored to meet the specific needs of our customers. The company has fiber optic cable automatic cutting machine, fiber curing ovens, fiber polishing machines, crimping tools, microscopes and 3D Optical Interferometer in order to assure the highest quality and fast delivery times.
