QNAP Systems Inc. has introduced HDP Recovery Media Creator, a new disaster recovery tool designed for Windows PCs and servers. The solution allows businesses to create bootable recovery media in both USB and ISO formats, enabling fast system restoration in case of failure.
Previously part of another tool, this feature is now a standalone application, giving IT teams more flexibility to deploy recovery media without pre-installing additional software. A key update is the support for ISO files, making it easier to recover systems remotely or within virtual environments.
The tool integrates directly with QNAP NAS devices, allowing users to access backups and restore systems quickly, even if they cannot boot. It is free for QNAP users, quick to set up, and supports both full system and partial recovery options.
